We are currently seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator/Boilermaker to join our team, specialising in fabrication work This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated tradesperson who values quality workmanship, safety, and attention to detail. You will be involved in a wide range of fabrication tasks, from press and guillotine operation to handrailing, bracketry, and reverse engineering – supporting a variety of projects across mobile plant equipment including CAT, Bell, and Hitachi. Key Responsibilities Operate press and guillotine machinery Complete light to medium panel fabrication Fabricate handrailing and structural bracketry Reverse engineer bracketry Interpret and execute technical drawings accurately Weld using MIG, Stick, and FCAW (TIG desirable) Maintain a strong focus on safety, health, and housekeeping standards Collaborate effectively in a team environment Skills & Experience Trade qualified – Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (or equivalent) Demonstrated experience with mobile plant equipment – CAT, Bell, Hitachi Proficient in reading technical drawings Strong fabrication and welding skills across MIG, Stick, and FCAW TIG welding experience (desirable) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills High attention to detail, presentation, and craftsmanship Strong commitment to workplace safety and proactive housekeeping Proven ability to work as part of a collaborative team Requirements Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Must provide own tools Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening if requested How to Apply: If this sounds like the right role for you, apply now with your r esume outlining your relevant experience.
