About Diversa Diversa Trustees Limited (DTL) is a specialist Trustee company focusing on superannuation funds in Australia, including retail master trusts, corporate funds, platform (wraps), Pooled Superannuation Trusts, and insurance only funds. Diversa has been operating for many years providing trustee services to approximately 24 APRA regulated superannuation funds, with in excess of $8 billion of assets under management. About the role The role assists the trustee/s with the good governance of the trustee/s and their RSEs under management, ensuring that funds are compliant with all laws and regulations and that the interest of members are at all times protected. Claim Manager role is responsible for Claims Case Management, Monitoring the performance & compliance of Diversa’s Service Providers, Complaints and Incident management, and Claims assessments and determinations. Key Responsibilities Case Manage a portfolio of active claims lodged with the relevant Fund Work with insurers, administrators and Promoters to ensure the claims assessment process is completed Ensure claimants are provided with regular and ongoing updates with respect to the status of their claim Critically review the results of internal audits Monitor and liaise with Service Providers to ensure that they are adequately meeting their obligations Review IDR complaint responses prepared by service providers Ensure complaints are handled in line with Diversa’s guidelines and policies Ensure incidents are managed in line with Diversa’s incident management policies and guidelines Oversee the implementation of any preventative measures required by Service Providers Act as an SME in relation to the complaints module and the incident and breach module Respond to Auditor enquiries and co-ordinate the provision of information to auditors Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines to assist internal teams and service providers Act in accordance with Diversa values, Code of Conduct and Ethics and policies Knowledge and Experience Tertiary qualification or industry accreditation in finance, superannuation, para-legal disciplines; or At least 5 years’ experience in superannuation or MIS administration Capacity to understand and interpret agreements, legislation, Board Policies Capacity to interrogate data and perform analytics for scheme dashboards Skills and Competency Ability to write reports for management Interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team and demonstrate relationship building skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Effectively manage deadlines and understand new concepts quickly Proven problem-solving skills Tenacity & resilience, ability to remain calm under pressure Discretion and the ability to keep confidentiality Benefits At Diversa, we value collaboration, teamwork, and diversity, and understand that through flexibility, our employees can achieve their best work life balance to support their professional goals while meeting their personal needs.
