As an Aviation Training and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the Development & Compliance in ensuring the evolution, implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the National Capability Development Program. At the site level you will engage directly with management teams to support the development and effective delivery of local capability development and audit programs. About you: Sound experience in a complex regulatory compliance and training delivery work environment Sound experience in the design and delivery of training curriculum Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a large diverse team Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and strong computer skills Managerial experience interacting with people in a service- oriented environment The ability to multi-task, problem solve and work well under pressure The Position: As the Aviation Training & Compliance Manager you will be responsible for: Site activities and performance of accreditors in compliance with regulatory standards Aviation Screener Accreditation Scheme across all sites (NASAS) Coaching and mentoring training staff and employees to achieve a positive compliance outcome and achievement of contractual objectives and targets Working in conjunction with the Training Manager, developing and maintaining training plans Scheduling training sessions and ensuring all training and competency assessments are conducted in BA365 Assist the Training Manager in the Management of on-site training files and relevant documentation to ensure compliance with the regulations Administration associated with the coordination and delivery of all courses including conducting enrolments, assessments, collating documentation, and feedback mechanisms Continuously ensure own performance meets and exceeds against Trident Services and Client Standards, Policies and Procedures. Fulfil the responsibilities stated in the Trident Services HSE Policy and Procedures. Follow process control documentation such as Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) or work instructions. Skills and Experience: You will have: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) plus TAELLN unit Certificate II Transport Security Protection (or ability to obtain), or grandfathered screener. Auditor certification Current Australian Driver’s License The ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments. Ability to obtain an ASIC Not essential the following would be desirable for this role: Current Security Licence Certificate II in Security Operations Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and in the delivery and assessment of training.
