Elite Executive is proud to partner with Far North Queensland Legacy (FNQ Legacy) in the search for an experienced Events and Administration Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organised professional to contribute their skills to a respected not-for-profit organisation that makes a real difference in the lives of veterans’ families. About the Role This permanent part-time position will see you playing a key role in coordinating FNQ Legacy’s events and providing essential administrative support. From planning and executing meaningful fundraising events to managing day-to-day office operations, this is a busy and rewarding role where no two days will be the same. Responsibilities Coordinating event logistics such as venues, catering, and equipment. Developing and distributing marketing and promotional materials. Managing registrations, RSVPs, and attendance tracking. Overseeing event set-up, delivery, and pack-down. Providing administration support including reception, mail handling, and board reporting. Entering data into accounting systems and processing receipts. Promoting FNQ Legacy’s work and building sponsor relationships. Skills and Experience Required Minimum of 5 years’ events management experience. Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. Proven ability to secure sponsorships and build stakeholder relationships. A friendly, approachable and reliable personality with a team-focused mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for events. Current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, Blue Card, CPR and First Aid.
