About the Role Transcend Workforce is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join one of our clients in the steel manufacturing industry as the first point of contact for the public. Based in the eastern suburbs, this role works closely with the sales and operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. We are looking for someone with a bright personality, strong administrative skills, and a customer-focused mindset to excel in this position. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $41.25 per hour overtime Full-time casual (three-month term, with the goal of converting to a permanent role at the client’s discretion) Your responsibilities: Customer enquiries and sales, over the phone and at the front counter Trouble shooting customer sales queries Upselling and providing quotes Sales data entry, general invoicing, administration, purchasing and inventory control. Dispatch and production planning with guidance. Working between three sites on call Milage is paid for travel between sites About you: Experience in a similar phone-based customer service role. Knowledge of the building industry and a strong understanding of measurements are crucial. The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients.
