Job summary: Flexible hours available 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $31 - $35 per hour This is an immediate start position Roasting Warehouse Specialty Coffee – Geebung, QLD Approx. 40 hours/week | Starting Late August We’re on the lookout for an experienced Chef or Cook to join the team on a 6-week contract to cover staff leave, starting late August through September. This is a great opportunity to step into a busy, well-established kitchen — and there’s potential for ongoing work after the cover period for the right person with flexibility. The role: Approx. 40 hours per week across a Monday to Saturday roster Running breakfast/brunch service including made-to-order dishes Supporting prep and maintaining cabinet stock throughout the day (focaccias, burgers, wraps, etc.) Ensuring food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness are upheld at all times Working alongside a tight-knit team in a fast-paced environment What we’re looking for: Previous breakfast/brunch kitchen experience essential Ability to work independently and run service confidently Strong attention to detail, prep efficiency, and time management Must hold current Food Safety Certification Positive attitude, reliability, and a sense of humour always welcome!
