About the role The Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) Consultant works within the Commonwealth Student Loans Unit which is responsible for providing advice and support for TAFE SA Education Programs, Engagement Teams, and the Senior Commonwealth Student Loans Officer in reporting and legislative requirements. The position has responsibility for a range of functions, works under limited direction, and is required to exercise initiative, judgement and sound knowledge related to the work undertaken by the unit. The Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) Consultant supports both the regulatory advice and reporting aspects of TAFE SA’s engagement with the Commonwealth via the Tertiary Collection of Student Information (TCSI). Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS). Some out of hours work may be required. Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
