The Enterprise Architect is a technical team member responsible for planning, architecture, and delivery of Professional Services engagements with a focus on migrations, cloud infrastructures, business continuity, and disaster recovery at an enterprise scale. Responsibilities include architecting and implementing cloud availability solutions, data protection, and monitoring using Veeam tools and System Center. The Consulting Architect is an expert in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Continuity, Data Center, Cloud, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization. Responsibilities Deliver implementation and consulting services to meet the Veeam Software solution design and deliverables with a focus on legacy and cloud migrations Create white papers, solutions guides, best practices, custom documentation, etc. Assist with solution implementation effort estimation Assist with Services Engineering for new Professional Services offerings Assist with the development and implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and workflows Assist in the selection of tools to support new Professional Services offerings Work as part of a cross-functional team with the Global Alliance Architecture team Provide input to the writing of proposals and Statements of Work Provide overall project guidance (project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource plans, status updates, etc.) Assist with assessment and design of solutions Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam Software solutions Assist in the selling of Professional Services Document configuration and completed activities Assist with post-installation issues Analyze installed environments and provide guidance on optimal Veeam Software configurations Facilitate communication between client and Veeam support Identify additional needs within client’s environment that can be resolved with Veeam Software solutions Provide input for improvement of process and documentation Mentor new and junior team members Overnight travel up to 75% of the time to meet company goals and objectives Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Cloud and/or service provider background Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V VMware VCP, Microsoft MCITP or equivalent experience Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience Proven technical competency in cloud and/or service provider environments Creativity and perseverance for solving problems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Self-starter with a drive for continual learning and improvement Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience At least two (2) years of Cloud and/or service provider experience At least two (2) years of hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products At least three (3) to four (4) years of Consulting experience Experience working in the field requiring substantial travel Experience and success as a team leader Significant experience with VMware and Hyper-V Experience with orchestration and workflow tools Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment (Fibre channel, Ethernet, Cloud services) Hands-on experience with traditional storage and backup architectures Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.) Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics and Cloud Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity and Operating Systems A proven track record of success in managing multiple projects and accounts Veeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by law.
