Overview Decision Support Partner role at St Vincent's Health Australia . We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to provide actionable insights and enhance data-driven decision making through delivery of business intelligence (BI) and business analytics (BA) solutions. Located at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, the Decision Support Unit is a small, collegial team of business and data analysts that adds value through provisioning and maintaining key performance information and insights. The successful applicant will champion the use of analytics and stakeholder management to drive continuous improvement and organisational success. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs, streamline processes and contribute to impactful analytics projects, while assisting in the development and maintenance of key reports and dashboards. Key Responsibilities Leading initiatives that combine BI and BA to address complex challenges and opportunities, and conducting in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns and opportunities Designing, developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSMS and Report Builder Identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-driven solutions to optimise organisational workflows while monitoring key performance indicators to track progress Facilitating workshops and presentations to align stakeholders on insights and strategies Collaborating with clinical and operational teams to define organisational data needs and priorities and leverage data for strategic improvement Selection Criteria Strong data visualisation skills including the ability to deliver clear, targeted and impactful user reports Proficiency in Power BI, SSMA and Report Builder Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders About the Opportunity Classification for this position ranges from HS4 - HS29 ($83,657.60 - $92,482 per annum) plus an over award. Reporting directly to the Decision Support Unit Manager, this role is based at the main campus and supports data-driven decision making across the organisation.
