Overview Site Reliability Engineer Graduate (Video & Edge Global Engineering) - 2026 Start (BS/MS) role at TikTok. Earliest start in January 2026. Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Responsibilities Build global infrastructure for multi-media transport, storage and processing to serve billions of users worldwide. Engage in global production system management such as monitoring, on-call emergency response, capacity planning and optimization. Build tools, automations, observability and monitoring to facilitate the operation and optimization of the global infrastructure. Engage in and improve the whole service lifecycle, from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement. Scale up systems sustainably through automation and initiate changes that improve system reliability and processing speed. Qualifications Recent graduates or graduates within the last 12 months before onboarding in 2026. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent working experience. Good programming experience with at least one of: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go. Knowledge of networking, operating systems, database systems and container technologies. Good understanding of microservice architecture and troubleshooting in large-scale distributed systems. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with common open-source systems such as Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and ELK. Experience building solutions with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and other cloud services. Experience working in international teams across time zones (US, Dublin, China, Singapore).
