The purpose of the role is to drive customer activity and revenue growth across the Markets product and service suite via analysis that provides insights for ASX participants, new direct and indirect customers. You will identify insights and opportunities for product development and enhancement, deepening relationships with sell-side and buy-side participants. What You Will Be Doing Work effectively with Markets Distribution to deepen existing relationships, solve challenges, deliver value, and identify opportunities for improved market quality. Drive customer analysis on activity and revenue growth across the Markets product and service suite. Specifically: Support the Markets distribution team to retain and grow existing participants’ activity and insights across ASX’s products and services. Provide analysis to identify prospects and support the Markets Distributions team in developing and converting new trading participants, clearing participants and new end users across the product suite. Promote new products and initiatives, aligning analytical solutions with client objectives, to new and existing relationships and maintain regular strategic engagements. Deliver against a strategy to approach key customer segments and key product Markets Distribution initiatives. Work with Markets Distribution to identify and showcase market experts to help deliver education programs within and beyond ASX owned channels. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or any major field. Proven analytical experience, scripting and data analysis tools and languages, e.g. SQL, TIBCO Spotfire. Quantitative data skills using Python and/or R to access data and visualise/analyse data sets and trends. Understanding of global markets, investment banking, proprietary trading and asset management. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tool, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Energetic self-starter, self-motivated and highly resourceful. Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrable internal/external relationship management ability. Excellent presentation skills. Collaborative team focus. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Customer first mentality. Nice To Have An understanding of the role an exchange plays in a financial market. Understanding of global markets, investment banking, proprietary trading and asset management. Experience with two or more ASX key markets and its products and services: cash equity markets, equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, commodity derivatives, central clearing services, technical services and data product.
