About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Operations & Business Development Manager to lead and grow their multi-faceted business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business development, and managing a diverse team. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, improving processes, and expanding the customer base. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management Lead and optimise operations across manufacturing, retail, and catering divisions Manage inventory, logistics, and supply chain functions Drive team performance, labour cost control, and a positive workplace culture Ensure compliance with HACCP and quality control standards Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs Sales & Business Development Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and market share Build strong customer relationships and represent the brand Conduct feasibility studies for new products and market opportunities Oversee administration, debtor/creditor management, and sales optimisation Analyse performance data and propose strategic initiatives to the General Manager Lead capital investment projects from proposal to implementation Workplace Safety & Compliance Maintain a safe and compliant work environment Ensure timely repairs and hazard management Enforce company policies and procedures across all teams Promote a culture of safety, hygiene, and accountability About You: You’re a confident leader with a strong background in operations and business development, ideally within the food or retail industry.
