About Lizard Centre: For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. We are seeking an experienced Behavioural Therapy Assistant to work with a family in Werribee across two weekly shifts Monday 2:00pm-4:00pm Tuesday 2:00pm-4:00pm Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation Skills & Experience Previous experience working with children is required (e.g. Behaviour Therapist, Therapy Assistant, Registered Behaviour Technician, Disability Support Worker, Early Childhood Educator/Childcare Worker) Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential Requirements: Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain) NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You' Australian Driver's License & Vehicle Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device on shift How to Apply: Shortlisted applicants will be sent an email with some screening questions from our Talent Acquisition, Olivia Sorokin.
