The Opportunity: We have an opportunity for someone to join us as our Cocoa team as a key liaison between ofi and our clients. Ensuring exceptional service, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning client needs with the company’s commercial and operational capabilities. Through effective relationship management, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration, this new member of our team will be accountable for delivering revenue/volume growth, customer relationship management, and operational excellence. This role reports to our National Sales Manager, and is responsible for: Sales & Revenue Growth Identify new business opportunities, upsell and cross-sell cocoa products, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. Strategic Account Planning Develop and execute tailored account plans that align with customer needs and company objectives, driving strategic growth and long-term value. Market Insights & Analysis Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and support product development. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key cocoa customers across Australia to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. CRM & Data Management Maintain accurate customer records, visit notes, and sales pipeline data in the CRM system to support transparency and data-driven decision-making. Customer Service & Issue Resolution Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Customer Engagement Conduct regular face-to-face visits with defined objectives to strengthen relationships, present new solutions, and identify growth opportunities. Reporting & Forecasting Provide timely updates on customer visits, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to guide strategy and inform management. Contract Negotiation Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with company policies and legal standards. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure all activities meet industry regulations and quality standards, particularly around cocoa product specifications. Order & Supply Coordination Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with product development, logistics, and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs. Our Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for a dynamic sales professional to lead our cocoa product sales across Australia. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to delivering exceptional value to customers. They will also have the following: Proven experience (2 years minimum) in B2B sales, account management, and new business development. Strong understanding of the Australian food and/or FMCG sector (cocoa experience a plus). Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and data reporting (SAP and Monday.com a plus). Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
