They have been successful in winning several multi-million dollar projects across a range of sectors including, education, commercial, community centres, residential and are seeking a motivated and passionate Senior/Associate Structural Engineer to join their growing team. The Role As a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Scheming, designing, and providing construction phase assistance for projects from start to finish for large and complex structures including education, commercial, community, sporting and boutique residential projects. Carrying out calculations and structural analysis in accordance with guidelines, practice, Australian Standards, health and safety regulations and local authorities’ regulations. Managing design communication and professional relationships with client and other stakeholders. Working closely with Engineers and Drafters to provide high quality structural design and documentation. Project management. Supporting clients and internal customers on technical queries. The Successful Applicant In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. At least 5 - 7 years’ experience in a Structural Engineer role within a consultancy environment. Experience in scheming, designing and providing construction phase assistance for projects for complex structures. The ability to produce complex calculations in all structural materials, i.e. steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Sound knowledge of Australian Standard design codes and techniques.
