Experienced female Support Worker required to provide supports to our female client, in her 40's living in her family home in Spotswood. She enjoys family life, is nonverbal but expressive and communicates via facial expressions and vocalisations. Our client has Cerebral Palsy and utilises a PEG. You will be competent in HI supports, particularly PEG feeding, and/or have a nursing/allied health background. Full support with personal care, including hoisting, showering and PEG feeding. Shifts 2:1: Monday & Wednesday evenings 4:45pm - 6:45pm and Saturday mornings 10:15am - 12:15am. Our client and family are hoping to meet support workers who are able to fill these shifts when existing support workers are away, and there would opportunities to fill other shifts from time to time, pending availability of other SWs in our client’s team. You must have or be willing to obtain: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate Current First Aid certificate Current CPR certificate 2 references from prior and/or current employers Current Drivers License Certificate III or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
