About the Role Ready to get paid while you learn? As an Apprentice Boilermaker , you’ll work hands-on with industry-leading underground mining equipment, training alongside highly skilled tradespeople while completing your nationally recognised Certificate III. Apprentice Boilermaker – Key Duties ️ Assist in fabricating conveyor frames, chutes, and structural components under supervision. Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings to understand project requirements. Support qualified boilermakers in welding (MIG, TIG, and stick) and metal preparation tasks. ️ Operate basic workshop tools and machinery such as grinders, drills, and cutting equipment (after training). Maintain a clean and organised workspace , ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly. Follow all safety procedures and wear the correct PPE at all times. Work as part of a team , assisting with assembly, fitting, and installation of conveyor components. Attend and complete TAFE training as part of the apprenticeship requirements.
