The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Nationa l HSEC Manager to support safe, compliant, and high-performing operations across our sites and plant within the Bowen and Galilee Basins in QLD. This role is more than just HSE delivery and is a critical leadership pipeline role, designed to develop into a future General Manager position for the right person. You’ll provide hands-on support, coaching, and leadership to operational teams while also influencing regional strategy. Key Responsibilities Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, standards, and procedures across multiple sites. Lead incident investigations and support root cause analysis. Partner with regional leadership to deliver strategic HSE outcomes that align with business priorities. Coach frontline leaders to embed a proactive safety culture and drive accountability. Deliver and oversee HSE training, audits, and compliance assessments. Ensure alignment with Federal and State Regulations and industry standards. Manage health, injury management, and return-to-work programs. Represent the business with regulatory bodies, industry forums, and community stakeholders. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline (preferred). 7 years of experience in a senior HSE role, ideally within high-risk industries (explosives/dangerous goods experience highly regarded). Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 systems. Demonstrated success influencing HSE culture and driving performance improvement across multiple sites. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Accreditation in Rehabilitation and Return-to-Work Coordination. Relevant security clearance or ability to obtain.
