About the role We are seeking a proactive Information Management Advisor to lead data cleansing, migration, and disposal activities—extracting reports from Castlepoint, liaising with internal stakeholder, and guiding decisions on retention, destruction, or access controls in alignment with Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) requirements as outlined in the Retention & Disposal Authorities that TAC follows. About the Team You will join the Enterprise Information Management team, housed within the Enterprise Change & Workplace Experience Division, working under the guidance of a dedicated Information Management Specialist. The team thrives on collaborative problem-solving, with members working closely across business units across TAC. What we’re looking for Expertise in Record Management You’re a subject-matter expert on Retention and Disposal Authorities (RDAs) and Disposal Standards, guiding legal and transparent decisions on data retention, destruction, and archival transfers. You’ll use Castlepoint to drive compliant outcomes, ensuring time-expired records are disposed of appropriately. Contributing to Remediation & Reporting You’ll leverage Castlepoint to pinpoint data needing remediation, generate clear remediation reports, and support efficient record sentencing. Your insights will help streamline decision-making and maintain compliance across systems. Engage in Stakeholder Engagement You excel in liaising with business units across TAC including Community —translating complex retention, disposal, naming, and storage requirements into actionable plans. This ensures remediation tasks are completed, risk is managed proactively, and information governance remains consistent and understood across the organisation . Take the next step in your career.
