An elderly lady living in her own home in Yagoona is looking for a warm, reliable volunteer to visit her regularly. She enjoys simple pleasures—sitting in her garden with a cigarette, admiring her flowers, chatting about life, and feeling pampered with her hair or nails done. Your company and conversation would mean the world to her. Even a 30 minute visit weekly or fortnightly can make a real difference to her day. Sometimes, the simplest visits leave the biggest impact. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
