Your Role An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Catherine McAuley College, Mackay, in the position of Facilities Officer (Groundsperson) . This is a part-time continuing position for 22.5hpw, commencing as soon as able or as negotiated with the successful applicant. This role performs daily maintenance tasks including, maintaining and driving all college vehicles, ensuring all college vehicles have road worthy and correct machinery checks as required and ensure the bus and utilities are cleaned inside and out. This role will also perform gardening and mowing, grounds beautification, rubbish collection, room and event set-up and other tasks as required. About you The successful applicant will have an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic education. In addition you will have excellent time management skills, and well developed interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will hold a valid MR Class drivers licence (or willing to obtain) and have the ability to drive a 39 seater bus.
