We’re exclusive recruitment partners of the Bell Bay Advanced Manufacturing Zone (BBAMZ) and are working to find a trusted, capable and people-oriented Industry Capability Manager—someone who can build bridges between government, industry, and local business to make a meaningful impact on the region’s energy transition. This role has strategic weight and cultural significance. You won’t just be ticking boxes; you’ll be leading conversations, building relationships, and creating real momentum in a sector that’s ready to take off. You’ve likely worked across government, industry, or economic development and understand the importance of credibility, communication, and trust. While hydrogen-specific experience is not required, your ability to influence, bring people together, and deliver outcomes will be key. You'll need to be confident engaging across multiple layers—from small business owners to senior government stakeholders—and be comfortable taking ownership of a project with broad impact. Your New Role Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will include: Leading the development and execution of an industry engagement strategy to support local businesses entering the hydrogen supply chain Building strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders across government, education, and industry Representing BBAMZ in a way that aligns with their values and earns trust in the community Supporting capability-building initiatives and reporting against project milestones Managing a small, collaborative team and contributing to a positive, unified culture You’ll be based at the Bell Bay office, with regular time spent at the Launceston office each week to stay connected with the wider team.
