The role typically involve: Reporting to the Duty Managers, overseeing the floor operations and coordinate between different departments (bar, gaming, events, catering) Working with the Duty Managers to provide leadership and coaching to all venue employees Implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency Analysing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions Leading and effectively communicating with the teams Achieve high levels of customer service and manage customer relations to encourage return business Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Duty Manager oversees the daily operations of the business ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are provided to guests at all times. The role typically involve: Coach & develop the team through constructive & effective feedback with the aim to improve employee knowledge, performance & reduce staff turnover. Participate in and coordinate innovation activities relating to operations & service practices to improve the customer & employee experience. Lead by example through superior customer service, positive & effective communication & productivity. Demonstrate dispute resolution techniques to resolve staff and customer grievances in an efficient manner ensuring a positive business outcome is achieved. Work well under pressure with the ability to multi task. Efficiently & effectively report on customer and employee related incidents. Pre-requisites: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and guide teams toward achieving organizational goals Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA) & Responsible Gambling Services certificate (RSG) For Duty Manager Role - Approved Managers License & RMLV A strong knowledge of hospitality operations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively A team player attitude with demonstrated leadership skills Ability to work a flexible roster including nights and weekend shifts Caloundra RSL Services Club Ltd is passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
