About the role The Loan Kit Coordinator is responsible for the ensuring that all required loan kits have arrived prior to surgery. The Loan Kit Coordinator is responsible for the receipt, check-in, tracking, preparation prior to CSSD and check out / dispatch of all loan kits within the Operating Room Suite to ensure that all loan kits are tracked, all components accounted for and returned complete to the respective company. Key responsibilities: Accountable for the accurate receipt of loan kit goods into the hospital. Accountable for the check-in, tracking and preparation prior to CSSD processing Ensuring all loan kits are checked out and complete prior to return to companies. Knowledge of the current AS 5369. Maintaining good working relationships and communication with the whole department and other areas. Essential Criteria: Experience in CSSD and Loan Kit management. Certificate III or higher in Sterilising Services. Effective communication skills.
