Your Role We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist on a permanent, part-time basis (3 days per week) in Osborne Park. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing therapy service to a range of clinical presentations, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, acquired brain Injury, global developmental delay and downs syndrome. Supporting predominantly a paediatric client base. Delivering a wide variety of therapy to customers that includes support with community access, regulation, fine motor and upper limb skills, developing independence with daily living skills, self-care and basic behaviour supports within home, clinic, school and community settings. Ongoing evaluation and review of customer's progress in line with their goals and plans. Maintain customer records and ensure effective service delivery across the allied health team. What makes you the right candidate? Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) Previous relevant clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist Experience working under the NDIS framework within the disability support sector Ideally have previous experience in assessment and prescription of Assistive Technology Exceptional verbal and written communication skills teamed with the ability to work autonomously Have a strong focus on safety culture and willingness to always improve quality, safety and compliance Hold a valid HLTAID011 First Aid Certificate with at least 6 months validity All successful candidates must have or be willing to obtain the following before commencement: Drivers License, Working with Children Check, Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module.
