Description We currently have an opportunity for a full time Cleaner. Join our team and play a key role in managing the delivery of support services critical to maintaining the integrity of the hospital's operations. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do (key responsibilities) This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Complete patient room Discharge & Terminal cleaning including making beds as required Complete department and ward-based “SuperCleans” Ensure approved waste handling procedures in accordance with guidelines Ensure that patient and staff confidentiality is maintained Other duties as directed by Cleaning Supervisor or other Downer Management What You’ll Bring (experience required) Knowledge and understanding of basic cleaning techniques 1-5 years’ experience in healthcare related cleaning desirable Certificate II Cleaning or Health Support Services desirable Experience with commercial cleaning equipment desirable Confident, professional and well groomed Above Award rate dependant on skills and experience.
