Fixed Term contract until end September 2027 Some evening and weekend work required Own car and drivers license needed The Role The Member Support Officer (MSO) sits within the Regions team and is responsible for providing practical, on the ground, member services across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand including (but not limited to); training and advice on the RACP education programs, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program and Supervisor Professional Development Program (SPDP); coordination and logistical assistance for local meetings and events; and general member support functions. Other responsibilities include: Being the link between local supervisors, the State Committee, Education Services and Professional Practice Preparing, coordinating and facilitating new Curriculum, Training Management Platform (TMP) or Physician Readiness for Expert Practice (PREP) training activities including workshops and TMP/PREP information sessions for members Supporting the key state office activities and events for members; e.g. Advanced and Basic Trainee Forums Supporting the deployment of Member Services initiatives among local members Acting as an on-going communication channel between Member Engagement & Support and local membership Secretariat to the State Trainees’ Committee Desired Skills and Experience The Successful Candidate As the successful candidate, you will have relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a member services organisation. You will also possess the following skills and attributes: Current drivers license and own car Effective written and oral communication skills Experience providing high level member services and support Ability to facilitate training workshops Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with members from different parts of an organisation/service or business A commitment to professional customer / member service Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines Recognition of requirements for confidentiality Demonstrated high level skills in managing stakeholder expectations in a complex environment Strong experience in the use of Zoom, Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint. Experience in the QLD health system would be advantageous.
