We are exclusively partnering with a private investment and property management company with a diversified portfolio to appoint a Retail Leasing Executive to drive leasing performance and enhance the tenant mix of a flagship retail centre located on the Gold Coast. The Opportunity This is a rare chance to step into a senior leasing role where you will be directly contributing to the long-term value creation of a significant retail investment. Working closely with the asset and centre management teams, you will play a key role in shaping leasing strategy, attracting quality tenants, and driving commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Proactively source and secure new retail tenants to strengthen the centre’s tenancy mix. Manage negotiations for new leases, renewals, assignments, and variations. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, leasing agents, and stakeholders. Undertake market research to identify retail trends, competitor activity, and opportunities. Assist with the preparation of leasing strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Prepare heads of agreement and leasing documentation, ensuring compliance with all requirements. Collaborate with marketing and centre teams to support activations, retailer openings, and precinct enhancements. Report on leasing activity, deal pipeline, and performance against targets. About You We are seeking an experienced leasing professional who is confident, commercially astute, and able to influence outcomes. You will bring: Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail or commercial leasing, ideally with exposure to shopping centre assets. Current Real Estate Licence. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Market knowledge and the ability to identify and secure new retail opportunities.
