Artemus Group are recruiting for a Group Reservations & VIP Manager to join our team, based either in Sydney or Brisbane this role will see you report to the Director of Sales and Events. In this role you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Reservations Department across both Brisbane and Manly precincts. This includes providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and leadership to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of guest bookings. This role also oversees hospitality reservations systems and procedures, leading innovation projects and ensuring venues are equipped with effective tools to increase revenue and deliver premium guest experiences. Key responsibilities include: Provide leadership and direction to the Reservations Team across both Brisbane and Manly,. Foster a positive cross-precinct culture that encourages professional growth, collaboration, and exceptional guest service. Develop and implement reservations strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets across both locations. Achieve set KPIs for conversion of enquiries generated from digital marketing campaigns. Oversee handling of all reservations, including direct and group bookings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Monitor reservation trends across both precincts, identifying opportunities for improvement and adjusting strategies to market conditions. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service throughout the booking process. Act as the primary point of contact for VIP clients, including on-call phone coverage, providing updates, early access to events, and personalised offerings. Lead guest recovery processes for hospitality reservations, ensuring learnings are used to enact positive change. Provide regular reports on booking trends, performance metrics, and forecasts across both precincts. Lead innovation and system enhancements in Seven Rooms, ensuring new features are implemented and monitored effectively. Drive new offerings and revenue-enhancing initiatives in conjunction with Venue Managers. Undertake local and national market research to inform offers, special day activations, and general guest experience improvements. What we are looking for: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, multi-venue experience highly regarded. Strong track record in hospitality reservations leadership within a fast-paced environment. Reservations system management experience required (Seven Rooms highly regarded). Proven ability to build trust and maintain strong working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines across multiple locations. Strong reporting and analytical capability. Flexible availability, with occasional weekend/on-call requirements. Why you’ll love working for us?
