Your Team This position is part of the independent Line 2 Risk function which is led by the Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Your Responsibilities Reporting to the Group CRO, you will lead a small team of risk professionals and work collaboratively across Risk, Compliance and business functions to enable effective risk management practices, leveraging technology to deliver continuous improvement, simplification and increased quality and effectiveness. You Will Achieve This By Developing, improving and maintaining appropriate systems, tools and processes to measure and report key risk metrics to senior management and Boards.Maintaining the risk taxonomy to categorise and classify risks within CFS and overseeing the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) process for the organisation.Defining and maintaining the Risk Capability Framework and enhancing the risk capability within CFS.Maintaining and improving the enterprise approach to monitoring and assessing risk culture and conduct.Preparing regular reporting to the boards and risk committee.Overseeing the data quality program to ensure that risk data is accurate, timely, and reliable for decision-making purposes.Supporting the development and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Resilience framework for CFS.Developing and implementing an emerging risk process to identify, assess and mitigate potential risks that may impact CFS in the future.Oversee Line 1 Risk activities for the Risk business unit. Your Capability And Experience Deep experience in operational risk roles in the financial services sector, including the design and implementation of risk management frameworks and a sound knowledge of APRA prudential standards.Demonstrated experience in implementing Risk Culture and Conduct programs.Proven ability to implement processes that deliver data driven risk insights and thematics for Board level reporting and oversight.Excellent understanding of risk taxonomy and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining a Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and aligning it with business strategy.Practical experience supporting the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Resilience frameworks (CPS 230).Proven track record in overseeing data quality programs and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of risk data.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage and influence senior management and key stakeholders on risk-related matters.
