The Role The successful applicant should show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant primary school music curriculum. As the primary music teacher at Millen PS, you should establish an inclusive and culturally safe classroom environment. You should provide engaging arts experiences that support students to develop capability in critical and creative thinking. Millen’s music teacher will be an active member of a Professional Learning Community that works collaboratively to improve student learning by using data to inform practices focused on continuous improvement. You will work closely with the school community to promote music through a range of successful initiatives, including choir and the Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) program. The successful applicant will ideally: Inspire and engage students through innovative and differentiated music instruction aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
