This is a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible The Commercial and Contracting Services Directorate is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to work within the Commercial Procurement Services (CPS) team. CPS is seeking a new team member who is passionate about improving educational outcomes for students in public schools through best procurement practice. The Role The CPS team provides procurement and contract development services for all Department of Education (the Department) contracts valued at $50,000 or more. This includes the preparation of procurement documents including Procurement Plans, Request and Evaluation Plans as well as the facilitation of tender evaluation in compliance with the WA Procurement Rules. If successful, you will develop moderately complex and/or medium to high-risk whole of Department and/or schools contracts, including procurement planning, tender documents and evaluation, and contract formation, in consultation and negotiations with stakeholders including the Departments of Treasury and Finance and Housing and Works. Additionally, you will be required to contribute to the development, implementation and continuous review of contract forms, guides, templates and communications.
