We provides services across a range of specialties including orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, general medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, and neurology. The Allied Health Assistant role will provide services within our onsite short-stream inpatient rehabilitation service. As a successful candidate you will provide support across Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, as well as Dietetics and other disciplines as appropriate. Your main duties will include: Providing high quality evidence-based care to clients under the direction of allied health professionals Manage a diverse caseload of patients Support therapy programmes such as hydrotherapy, group exercise and functional retraining sessions. About you: Ability to work under supervision and direction Ability to work flexibly and perform a range of diverse tasks Willingness to learn, develop and show initiative Possess a Certificate in Allied Health Assistance or comparable qualification or experience working in healthcare (desired but not essential) A desire a join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
