Victorian Government Agency Melbourne CBD Location – Hybrid Working Arrangement Permanent ongoing position- $124,000 – $136,000 Super This Victorian Government Agency is seeking a Junior Solution Architect to play a critical part in developing and delivering the Agency’s Enterprise Architecture, while supporting and enhancing enabling technology platforms Key Responsibilities Partner with teams across the Agency to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and provide guidance on IT solutions. Evaluate commercial-off-the-shelf products to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and integration requirements. Work with platform owners to review, enhance, and maintain technology platforms, reducing technical debt and improving performance. Act as custodian of reference, solution, and data architecture designs in the Enterprise Architecture repository Provide support during solution design and architecture phases of projects, including data modelling and integration. Key Required Experience : Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a architecture or similar role Demonstrated experience designing IT solutions to meet complex business needs. Strong background in setting standards for enterprise architecture and solution patterns. Demonstrated Architecture experience across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. Understanding in Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure. Experience with enterprise architecture platforms such as Orbus (or similar).
