If successful, you will travel to the office for 1-2 days for onboarding. You will also be expected to travel to Canberra at least 4 times per year. Seeking an experienced Solution Architect to work on initiatives including uplifting customer experience, modernising IP Rights processing, improving workforce efficiency, and enhancing business agility by transitioning to hyper-scale cloud providers. Architect cloud solutions and document the solution design for stakeholder communication. Communicate solution designs to team members including business analysts and developers to enable solution delivery. Verify and validate solution implementation in accordance with solution designs. Contribute to adopting DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native tools. Ensure compliance with standards and architectural principles, compatibility with ICT target state, and associated roadmaps. Participate in project planning activities. Requirements Essential criteria Demonstrated experience in developing solutions using cloud services across the AWS stack, including EC2, VPCs, Aurora, SNS, Kubernetes, API Gateway, and Lambda. At least 4 years of experience working as a solution architect in complex environments with quality outcomes. Ability to facilitate architecture decisions with business, peers, and technical staff. Experience in producing solution designs covering application, information, integration, technology, and security. Self-starter with effective workload management and prioritisation skills. Desirable criteria AWS Cloud certification or equivalent. Understanding of core technologies including AWS native services, Java EE, PostgreSQL, SAP, M365, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and supporting infrastructure like OpenShift, RHEL, NAS, and network services.
