The Position The role involves sampling and analysis to meet the requirements of Waterview Laboratory. This includes support to the Water and Wastewater team as well as other departments within AlburyCity. Qualifications & experience Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent work experience Class C (standard) Driver’s Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Relevant experience in a similar role at a NATA accredited laboratory Tasks & responsibilities Chemical and microbiological analysis of water and wastewater samples Collection of samples including, when required, preservation and pre-treatment Perform all work according to the laboratory quality system and to it maintains NATA ISO 17025 accreditation Data entry and reporting of results Equipment and instrument validation, calibration, and maintenance Hours Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines. The exact times can be negotiated with the supervisor.
