The Position The Project Governance Officer will ensure and facilitate good project governance and compliance across all of AlburyCity’s projects. This position will set the foundation for project success and enable valuable insights and effective decision making at all levels through the use of high quality project information. Qualifications & experience Tertiary qualification in a related field or demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role Experience in Project Management and an understanding of the project management lifecycle Experience in providing governance support for projects. Tasks & responsibilities Provide AlburyCity with confidence that its projects comply with the project management framework at all stages of the project lifecycle. Ensure all projects within PMO are compliant with the Project Management Framework. Identify projects that are not being kept up to date and engage with key stakeholders to get them updated or assist in updating the project if necessary. Guide project leads when commencing or considering a project on how to follow the project management framework and administratively set the project up for success. Drive the coordination and support of project related steering committees and working groups Support portfolio management and project budget management processes Hours Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
