Job Description We are looking for Full Time - Cook to join our fast pace working environment to provide high quality customer service to our guests at our Sydney International Lounges. Our Cook provides service mainly in a buffet environment. All our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm and demonstrating a genuine passion for customer service and the kitchen. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef, you will form a key part of a team who are responsible for providing high quality product to our lounge passengers. This is a great role for someone studying cookery and wanting some experience in a kitchen or for an experienced cook wanting some extra hours. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures Assist the preparation of ingredients, which includes chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring food products. Ensure Food Safety protocols are followed Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Cook is required to wash all dishes during service Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the CDP & General Manager.
