As a proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) with a long history of delivering sustainable, grassroots services and providing the local community with a vehicle for self-determination, MDAS delivers health and well-being support services to communities based across the Mallee District. The Role: A key executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the GM Operations, GM Family & Community Services and GM Health & Clinical Services ensuring that strategic goals are met and funding arrangements are maintained. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) alongside two peers being the Chief Financial Officer and Chief People Officer. This role is vital in translating the company's vision into actionable plans and processes, ultimately driving efficiency and effectiveness across departments. Working closely with other executives, you will enhance productivity and foster a positive company culture, impacting both short-term performance and long-term growth. Your key responsibilities include managing and leading cross-functional teams, playing a crucial role in developing operational policies and procedures, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement. By streamlining operations and optimising resources, you will help the organisation achieve its business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and service. What You Bring: Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field. Minimum 10 years’ proven track record in a similar operational management role. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to drive performance and achieve strategic goals. Demonstrated ability to work proactively and in partnership with senior executives. Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and developing best-practice to drive projects to successful completion. High level computer literacy with sound working knowledge of MS Office software. Outstanding advocacy skills with a proven record of results. Ability to support the continuous improvement of the growing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled sector. Proven ability to drive efforts to increase and maintain funding opportunities whilst managing risks associated with changes in funding and policy models. A current Driver’s License that allows you to drive in Australia. A current Employee Working with Children Check card. A current National Police Check.
