About the Role: Physiotherapist role at NeuroRehab: Are you a Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with adult clients to help them achieve and celebrate their goals? At NeuroRehab, we work with people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, and a range of other neurological conditions. Our clients are predominately NDIS participants with some motor accident insurance and my aged care-funded clients. We're looking for a Physiotherapist with neurological experience to join our Hobart team on a part-time basis, initially equivalent to 2 days per week (ideally Tuesdays and Fridays, but this could be negotiated) with the view to increasing days over time as capacity builds. Our team has access to our brand-new Hobart clinic based centrally in Moonah, allowing team members to provide both clinic and community services to support the clients best! Key Responsibilities Assess and implement tailored physiotherapy programs. Manage day-to-day client caseload to support goals and outcomes with a person-centred approach, promoting inclusion and new possibilities. Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team to provide holistic therapy (Our Hobart team currently consists of OT’s, Speech Pathologist and an Allied Health Assistant). Skills And Experiences Requirements AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist 2 years of Physiotherapy experience is ideal (but expressions of interest from those with less experience also welcome) Highly knowledgeable in a wide range of evidence-based physiotherapy Driver's license Internet access (for times you decide to work from home) Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Vulnerable People Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check. Full COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses) and Influenza vaccination Desirable Experience working within a NDIS framework.
