About the role As a Senior Manager in the Taxation & Transfer Pricing division, you will lead a team and deliver a broad range of taxation solutions, while ensuring that value-added services are consistently provided to clients. You will play a crucial role in enabling clients to optimise their tax strategies, ensure compliance with tax laws & regulations and minimise their tax liabilities. Working closely with the Partner and broader team, you will take the lead on servicing client relationships, advocating for the firm and consistently seeking to develop new opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include, however aren’t limited to: Overseeing the preparation and implementation of strategic tax advice, business plans and recommendations tailored to client requirements Providing taxation consultancy advice, report writing and conducting research to address client requirements Conducting in-depth reviews of complex tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, FBT, BAS) and transfer pricing documentation Building, managing and maintaining client relationships to ensure a great customer experience and high level of satisfaction Advocating for the firm & driving business development through networking, thought leadership, and the identification of cross-divisional client opportunities Reviewing tax compliance, transfer pricing and advisory work prepared by junior staff and providing constructive feedback, as well as providing coaching and mentorship About you The successful candidate will be both a tertiary-qualified and CA or CPA qualified accountant, with a strong background in Corporate Tax, providing Australian taxation services across a broad and technically complex client base. You will possess knowledge and experience in areas including income tax, capital gains tax, FBT, GST, Division 7A and transfer pricing. You will demonstrate confidence in leading teams and have proven experience in providing guidance to junior staff. Your knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting standards, combined with your ability to interpret and apply complex tax matters – will be key to your success in this role. Proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon) and the Microsoft Office suite, is essential. You will be solutions-focused, highly organised and capable of managing competing priorities while delivering exceptional service to clients.
