Accounts Manager – Construction Sector Location: South Gold Coast Salary : A$90,000–110,000 superannuation Start: Immediate – ready to interview as soon as possible Are you an experienced construction Account Manager looking for your next move? We're looking for a high-energy and detail-oriented Accounts Manager is sought to oversee all aspects of financial operations—including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reporting, and junior staff supervision—within a dynamic construction environment. You'll leverage your expertise in the Jobpac system to support efficient project cost control and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Accounts Management Handle end-to-end management of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely, accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and client receipts. Monitor account aging and ensure prompt follow-up on outstanding items. Reporting & Reconciliation Prepare, analyse, and present regular financial reports, including aged debtors/creditors and forecasts. Reconcile ledger accounts and support month-end close processes. System & Process Management (Jobpac) Operate within the Jobpac platform for managing job-related accounting, forecasting, contract valuation, and project cost tracking—ensuring real-time alignment between financial and project data. Team Leadership Oversee the junior financial coordinator: allocate workloads, provide training and review, instil continuous improvement, and maintain a high standard of financial service. Compliance & Controls Establish and maintain sound accounting procedures and internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies. Stakeholder Communication Liaise with project managers, operations staff, vendors, and auditors. Provide support during audits and respond promptly to queries or discrepancies.
