Your Team The Strategy & Transformations squad’s Mission is ‘To ensure Flybuys has a robust and ambitious plan for the next 5 years, and an operating model that is aligned and working to deliver this plan’. To deliver this mission, we require a Strategy Delivery Manager to join our team of high performing transformation leaders. This is a high-profile role in the Flybuys business, where you will work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to drive outcomes for Flybuys by resolving complex and ambiguous problems into strategic programs that can be implemented across the business with clarity. This role will work within the Enterprise Portfolio team, in close alignment with the Strategy and Finance teams, and will maintain close connection with our delivery squads Your Role There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you will be working on, day-to-day; Leading multiple complex strategic business initiatives, including managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and chairing steering committees. Undertaking critical tasks yourself, including conducting research and opportunity assessments, development of business cases, strategic plans, board papers, and briefing materials and reports. Partnering with senior stakeholders to define, structure, and manage strategic business initiatives implementation plans, including consideration to change management, internal and external communications, approval cycles, and cross functional dependencies. Partnering with senior stakeholders, including customer, commercial, technology, finance, product and data teams as well as agile delivery teams, to deliver strategic business initiatives. Consulting with key strategic partners, shareholder brands, vendors, and other players in the ecosystem as required to define, plan, and deliver strategic business initiatives. Preparing clear and compelling executive-level presentations and papers relating to the strategy and business plan for Flybuys. Use data and insights to define, plan, and deliver strategic business initiatives, including conduct modelling and source data as required. Indirectly manage the work and performance of team members, including providing guidance, support, development opportunities, and resolve blockers to reinforce accountability for team members and help them grow professionally. Directly mange vendors when required. Your Experience 5 years’ experience in a management consulting firm, or in-house strategy delivery function. Retail/ Consumer/ Technology experience desired, but not essential. Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Engineering (or related field). Management qualifications viewed favourably, but not essential (e.g. MBA). Exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to structure complex problems for stakeholders. Experience in financial analysis, including the development of business cases. Experience in successfully leading and delivering larger, complex cross-functional strategic initiatives and/or work streams. The ability to communicate complex problems clearly for a variety of audiences, and to develop clear actions and recommendations for leaders. The ability to develop clear, concise, and structured written communications for a variety of audiences. The ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team, including understanding broader team objectives and acting as a coach for junior team members. A growth mindset, with willingness to continuously learn and adapt in an evolving environment. Personally undertakes tasks to drive the outcome of the initiative.
