The Department Neurology has long been recognised as one of the major clinical and research strengths of Alfred Health. Core activities of the department include: Specialist clinics (and consultants with particular expertise) in Movement Disorders, Neuropathy, Headache, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Stroke and Neurogenetics. The Neurophysiology Department provide EEG, EMG, Evoked potential studies and Tremor analysis and a strong neuropsychology service. Our inpatient units include ward 6E and 2F located in the main ward block on the Alfred campus. The Role The Epilepsy Administrator will assist with the day to day running of the Epilepsy Outpatient Specialist Clinics, which includes making appropriate appointments for patients as directed with: epileptologists, neuropsychiatrists, neuropsychologists, epilepsy fellows, epilepsy nurse and research nurses at The Alfred Hospital, Caulfield and Sandringham sites, and inpatient video-EEG monitoring (VEM) beds at The Alfred.
