They have an expansive footprint within the Equine sector, and now seek an experienced sales leader to join their team and continue their success. The Position As Equine Specialist, you will join a specialised sales team that works closely with key customers across the Australian sector, and be responsible for a key segment of customers, as you continue to lead the expansion for our client in Northern NSW and Southern QLD. You will: Engage with key customers and prospects in the racing and breeding stud arena, targeting feed and supplement solutions that can be partnered with. Negotiate supply contracts and leverage our client’s in-house nutrition capability to contribute to ongoing success. Work closely with the sales leadership to develop and deliver on monthly and annual business targets. Focus on developing a reputation for outstanding business partnerships through the reliable supply of high-quality racing feeds and supplements across the region. The Person You will be someone with a passion for the Australian equine sector and an established footprint within the racing and breeding stud sector. You will also: Worked in a relevant industry role or sales position which has given you a strong understanding of the sector and supply channels Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, allowing you to engage with a multitude of internal and external customers to ensure ongoing growth. A high attention to detail and capacity to problem solve. Experience developing sales/business plans and demonstrated experience in executing upon these plans.
