About the Role This is a pivotal role partnering with executives and senior leaders across Events, Broadcasting, and Consumer divisions, providing strategic financial advice and driving commercial outcomes. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling, while supporting major contracts, tenders, and high-profile projects. With two direct reports, you’ll also play a key role in mentoring and developing the finance team, while influencing key decisions across nationally recognised events and broadcasting initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Partner with executives and GMs to shape strategy and commercial decision-making. Deliver management reports, budgets, and forecasts. Support broadcasting contracts, rights negotiations, and event-related business cases. Provide commercial insights for sponsorships, partnerships, and digital initiatives. Lead corporate financial modelling and long-term forecasting. Maintain strong financial governance and cost control practices. Mentor and support two finance business partners. Contribute to financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes. About You You’re a qualified finance professional with significant commercial and strategic finance experience. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoy working with senior stakeholders on high-profile projects with commercial impact. You bring: CPA/CA qualification. 5 years in a senior finance/business partnering role. Strong commercial acumen with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Experience influencing and partnering with senior leaders. Leadership capability and team mentoring experience. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
