About the role The Director Infrastructure will be responsible for delivering vital infrastructure from roads and facilities to waste management. Provide strategic leadership and support to the General Manager and Council, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and budgets. Oversee asset management systems, long-term planning, and operational services including waste management. Manage contractors, consultants, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget. Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, the community, and internal teams to deliver outcomes. Skills & experience Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Leadership. Proven leadership in managing diverse teams and delivering complex projects under budget and time constraints. 5 - 10 years experience in long-term asset management planning and operational management. Strong financial management capabilities including budgeting and cost control. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively.
