About the role The Corporate Governance and Policy Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation operates with integrity, transparency, and strategic alignment. This position leads the design and execution of governance frameworks and policy initiatives that underpin regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, and effective decision-making across the enterprise. Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Lead the development, review, and implementation of governance and organisational policies aligned with best practice and regulatory standards Ensure the maintenance of a centralised policy library and document control system to ensure accessibility, version control, and compliance Organise and run cross-functional policy working groups and facilitate collaborative policy development Monitor and interpret emerging legislative, regulatory, and compliance requirements, advising on organisational impact Ensure adherence to legal obligations, corporate governance principles, and external accountability frameworks Provide strategic governance advice to the General Counsel and CFO (Joint Company Secretaries) Oversee and maintain key governance registers including delegations, gifts, interests, and authorisations Drive continuous improvement initiatives to uplift governance maturity and operational effectiveness Qualifications, Experience and Skills Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Public Policy, or a related discipline Demonstrated expertise in governance, compliance, and policy development within regulated environments and ASX 200 companies Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, including ASX Listing Rules and relevant legislation Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Proven ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policy solutions Note for recruitment agencies: We do not accept unsolicited candidates from external recruiters unless specifically instructed.
