A global leading insurance organisation specialising in commercial insurance is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their established team to provide strategic legal advice across APAC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drafting, negotiation and execution of a range of contracts and agreements. Assist with legal tasks, business projects and initiatives. Researching, advising and training on matters including general insurance and broader corporate and commercial matters. Provide support to the business, including underwriting, claims and marketing on various legal matters as they arise. Contribute to an effective team environment by interacting professionally with all team members and providing, support and assistance as required. Proactively seek to improve legal operations and self through continuous evaluation and improvement of practices and processes. Experience required: A Bachelor of Laws degree is essential. Admitted to an Australian jurisdiction with a current practicing certificate. Minimum three years PQE ideally in insurance but other financial services experience may be considered.
