Overview Director, Strategy - Homes NSW. Based in Parramatta, NSW. Ongoing position available. Total remuneration: $231,238 to $256,184. What you’ll do Homes NSW is leading the charge to deliver more social, affordable, and key worker housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and provide quality public housing across NSW. As Director Strategy, you will shape the future of homelessness and non-market housing strategies across the state. Lead the development and implementation of long-term strategies and action plans that reflect the NSW Government’s housing and homelessness priorities. This includes setting reform targets, engaging stakeholders, and driving innovation in service design and delivery. Lead the development of strategic frameworks to prevent and reduce homelessness and improve housing outcomes. Design and implement innovative models for non-market housing and homelessness services. Influence state and federal government policy through evidence-based advocacy and strategic partnerships. Oversee governance structures and stakeholder engagement, including peak bodies and service providers. Facilitate the implementation of the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH) and management of the NRSCH National Office. Provide strategic advice to Ministers, executives, and key stakeholders. Lead a team of strategy professionals and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence. What we’re looking for Proven strategic executive leadership in housing, homelessness, or social policy. Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills across government and community sectors. Experience in project and change management within complex environments. Passion for improving housing and homelessness outcomes for NSW and a commitment to innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
